Russia's gross domestic product (GDP) grew 4.2% in the first six months of 2010, while June GDP rose 4.9%, Russian Minister of Economic Development Elvira Nabiullina said on Monday. "The economy grew 4.2% in the first half of 2010 year-on-year," Nabiullina said at a cabinet meeting. She said that economic growth in June amounted to 4.9% year-on-year, and fell 0.3% month-on-month due to negative seasonal factors.
