Minsk, September 5 - Neftegaz.RU. Belarus shows interest in participating in projects for extracting continental oil in Brazil.
The matter was discussed as Ambassador of Belarus to Brazil Alexander Tserkovsky met with Executive Director for Corporate Affairs of the Brazilian oil & gas company Petrobras, representatives of the Belarusian embassy in Brazil told BelTa.
The sides agreed to arrange consultations between experts in order to discuss specific cooperation avenues. While in Rio de Janeiro the Belarusian ambassador also had a number of other meetings and negotiations. The ambassador met with representatives of the Brazilian Center for International Relations. The center is one of Latin America's leading analytical institutions. An agreement on stepping up interaction with the Belarusian analytical community was reached.
In 2017 Brazil showed interest in importing seismic and radial drilling services of the Belarusian oil company Belorusneft. Belarusian Honorary Consul in Brazil Grigori Goldchleger, said that if such a player as Belorusneft came to the Brazilian market, this would make the prices for services competitive and help the Belarusian oil company make big profit.
