London, November 6 - Neftegaz.RU. According to Platts, Gazprom Export sold the highest volume of gas on its Electronic Sales Platform (ESP) on November 2 for almost a month, with 62 million m3 of gas sold for December delivery to 4 points in central and eastern Europe.
Friday (November 2) was the 32nd daily auction since the process began on September 20, and the most gas was sold since October 8. The Friday sales included volumes sold at the German hub Gaspool, as well as both the Austrian and Slovakian virtual trading points and the Waidhaus interconnection point between the Czech Republic and Germany.
Total sales on the ESP are now 837 million m3. The pick-up in sales in Friday's auction coincided with German hub prices falling to their lowest since the start of the sales. According to Platts price assessments from Thursday, November 1, - the day before the auction - the German NCG day-ahead price dipped to Eur23.65/MWh - the lowest price since August 16.
Gazprom Export is again offering volumes only for December delivery at today's auction having now seemingly halted sales for November delivery. Gas is on offer for December delivery to NCG and Gaspool, the Slovakian virtual trading point and the Austrian Baumgarten hub (or its alternative Austrian delivery points) and Waidhaus.
Sales for October delivery totaled 37 million m3, while sales for November delivery totaled 574 million m3 - or 69% of the total. Sales for December delivery have so far totaled 225 million m3 - or 27% of the total.
