Salekhard, January 30 - Neftegaz.RU. President of LUKOIL Vagit Alekperov and the Governor of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug (YNAO), Dmitry Artyukhov, signed a Supplemental Cooperation Agreement for 2019, in Salekhard today.
The company will support a range of regional administrative initiatives. Among other things, LUKOIL will fund the construction of a home for the parish clergy at the Church of Protection of the Most Holy Mother of God in the village of Tazovsky. The YAMINE Charity Foundation will receive financial support for the organization of diagnostics, rehabilitation and medical treatment of seriously ill and disabled children.
LUKOIL will also provide funding to public and veteran organizations of the YNAO, promote volleyball, judo, hang gliding and also light and ultra-light aviation in order to facilitate the use of air transport in the economic sector and help conduct regional academic and practical research.
LUKOIL started operations in the Yamal-Nenets District in 2004. The company holds licenses for 6 areas with 8 field, Pyakyakhinskoye being the largest of them. The field’s initial recoverable reserves equal 86 million metric tons of oil and gas condensate, and 261 billion m3 of gas. Commercial production started in 2016.
