Moscow, January 30 - Neftegaz.RU. A working meeting between Alexey Miller, CEO of Gazprom, and Igor Dodon, President of the Republic of Moldova, took place today.
In 2018, Gazprom’s gas deliveries to Moldova totaled 2.9 billion m3 of gas, an increase of 8.4 % against 2017 (2.7 billion m3). The contracts between Gazprom and Moldovagaz for gas supplies to and gas transit across Moldova are valid until the end of 2019.
The parties reviewed issues related to the ongoing and future cooperation in the gas sector, including supplies of Russian gas to Moldovan consumers and its transit across Moldova. Attention was also paid to the activities of Moldovagaz.
Moldovagaz is a joint Russian-Moldovan company set up by Gazprom, the Moldovan Government, and the Ministry of Industry of Transnistria.
