Naryan-Mar, January 31 - Neftegaz.RU. President of LUKOIL Vagit Alekperov and Governor of the Nenets Autonomous District Aleksandr Tsybulsky signed a Protocol to the Cooperation Agreement between the company and the region for 2019, today.
According to the document, the company will continue to support social and economic development of the region. For instance, LUKOIL will finance measures in the area of urban development, healthcare, culture, sports, youth and civic engagement.
The latter implies support to be given to the construction of a Russian Arctic Regions spiritual and educational center.
Besides, LUKOIL also intends to contribute to regional employment, preservation of the cultural heritage of the indigenous peoples of the North, and also to implement various charitable initiatives in the region.
