A new hub, located in Sriracha Province, southeast of Bangkok along the coast of the Gulf of Thailand, will provide trade links with Asian markets, especially in Indochina and Southern China.
About 125 petroleum trading companies from 17 countries will attend the opening ceremony on Thursday. Two or three companies will be awarded oil trading licenses at the ceremony to jump start the project.
