BTC Pipeline Hits a Roadblock

The BTC pipleine has again run into problems as about 400 workers of Greek firm CCIC, which is engaged in the construction of the pipeline, have stopped their work as a sign of protest. The protesters say they started the protest due to social injustice and discrimination both in terms of wages and ethnicity.

A meeting between company management and 10 participants in the action has yet to yield any results.
