The Headache of Heading a State-Owned Company

Indonesia's House Commission will report Ariffi Nawawi, president of state oil company PT Pertamina, to the police for having ignored House hearing summonses.

"We can not let this instance of contempt of the House go, as it is a violation of the legislature's standing procedures. We invited Pertamina's top man three times but he never showed up for a hearing with the House," house member Djustril Djusan said.

The first summon swas sent on February 3, the second on February 20 and the third on March 1. "But none of our summons was met," he said.
