The crisis in Georgia is likely to delay the construction of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan main export pipeline for only a few days, according to the vice-president of the State Oil Company of the Azerbaijani Republic, Xosbaxt Yusifzada.
Yusifzada stated, 'this will not cause us a serious problem. Because all our oil products have been sent to Poti (port in Georgia). Two or three days delay will not affect the construction process. I think this will not take long.'
