Norway: workers of Oseberg A platform have been ordered to the lifeboats twice in three days because of oil and gas outbursts.
The production at Oseberg Feltsenter was stopped, caused by those effusions, and the crew evacuated to the lifeboats.
When the production was going to resume Monday evening, the employees had to enter the lifeboats once again after another effusion was discovered. However, the alarm was soon cancelled.
?The actual emissions were small, but we are of course taking such incidents seriously,? said Bjorn Otto Sverdrup, press officer at Norsk Hydro ASA.
?It's our duty to report when such things occur, and we can only apologize for the incident. It was actually a valve which made trouble.?
