Net Oil Importer To Boost Its Own Output

Indonesian large oil and gas upstream authority BP Migas is going to get additional oil production from a number of fields reaching 100,000 barrels per day this year and 190,000 bpd next year.
BP Migas Deputy Chairman Kardaya Warnika said that with the additional output, the government's oil output target of 1.15 mln bpd this year is achievable.

He added next year, the additional production will be contributed by Oseil field which belongs to Kuwait Foreign Petroleum Company.

But over the past few months, the country has turned to be a net oil importer, which analysts said is partly due to a decline in production.
