ExxonMobil To Continue Operating In Norway

ExxonMobil's subsidiary, Esso Exploration and Production Norway AS, has been awarded 30 percent ownership interest and operating rights in a new license in the southern North Sea on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
Other parties to be awarded interest in the license are Statoil with 30 percent, another state Norwegian company SDFI with 30 percent and German company RWE Dea (10 percent).
ExxonMobil Exploration Company president, Tim Cejka, said, "We are very pleased to receive this award in the 18th round in a previously unexplored area of the Norwegian Continental Shelf."
