Pemex, Mexican oil major, is likely to invest more than $5.7 billion in upstream projects on the south of the country in 2004-2007, basically in Tabasco state.
Through 2007, Pemex plans to drill 132 exploratory wells and 203 development wells in the southern region, carry out 96 infrastructure projects, make 758 repairs and conduct maintenance on 904 pipelines.
