Sinopec"s subsidiary Northern Company reported about its newly proven natural gas reserves
China?s largest oil producer Sinopec?s subsidiary Northern Company reported about its newly proven natural gas reserves of 142.959 bln cubic meters in the Daniudi Gas Field, in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
The latest finding raised the total gas reserves in 2.20 times the gas reserves recorded at the end of 2003.
Based on the discovery, a gas production base capable of producing 1.0 bln cu m of natural gas per annum could be created.
