Indonesia has targeted to increase natural gas output
Indonesia has targeted to increase natural gas output to 10 billion cubic feet per day in 2005, higher than the estimate of 8.8 BCFD this year, to increase in natural gas reserve from123.6 trillion cubic feet to 178.13 trillion cubic feet.
The government projected even bigger gas output after 2005 with the operation of new gas fields in Papua, East Kalimantan and Central Sulawesi, the newspaper said, quoting a report from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.
