Shell To Outbid LNG

Anglo-Dutch oil and gas giant Royal Dutch/Shell is planning to source LNG from Oman, Qatar, Malaysia and Australia for sale in India in the beginning 2005.

French oil companyTotal, Shell's partner in the deal, has equity in a liquefaction plant in Qatar and both companies are stakeholders in a plant in Oman. Abu Dhabi and Indonesia are also potential LNG suppliers.
