France?s biggest oil and gas producer Total SA has made a discovery of a new natural gas well near Timimoun in central Algeria.
Total said it was still evaluating the full potential of the well, which has been drilled to a depth of over 2 kilometers and yielded gas at a rate of 17.5 million cubic feet per day during tests.
