Shell Allowed To Biuld Its First LNG Depot
The terminal, which would be the first for LNG operated by Shell, costs $700 million
The Royal Dutch-Shell Group of Companies announced on Thursday it won a U.S. Maritime Administration permit to construct a LNG-terminal terminal in the Gulf of Mexico.
The terminal, which would be the first for LNG operated by Shell, is expected to be operating by 2010 at a cost of $700 million, according to the company?s spokesman. It will have the capacity for as much as 1 billion cubic feet of gas a day.
