Russia will continue to step up cooperation with Indonesia in fighting international terrorism, Russian President Vladimir Putin said Saturday during his meeting with Indonesia's President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono at Hotel Marriot after the reading of the APEC Summit declaration at Busan Exhibition and Convention Center.
The meeting between the two leaders took place in a cordial atmosphere. On the occasion, Putin said he is pleased that Indonesian people liked Russian products.
Responding to Putin?s remarks, Yudhoyono praised Russian-made Sukhoi jet fighters operated by the Indonesian National Military (TNI). Five Sukhoi fighters belonging to the TNI enlivened the celebration of TNI?s anniversary on October 5, 2005 by demonstrating their ability in aerobatics.
