Oil prices fell on concern over falling gasoline supplies in the United States and political instability in top producer Nigeria.
U.S. crude fell as much as 36 cents at the start of the Monday session, before reversing course to trade up 18 cents at $57.29 a barrel by 0107 GMT, marking its first gain since Thursday.
