Gas shortage in Nigeria will soon be over following the fixing of the Shell pipeline, Mr. Funsho Kupolokun, the Group Managing Director (GMD) of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), has said.
"The Shell pipeline will come on stream Friday and gas supply will commence immediately," Kupolokun said at the weekend in Abuja when he received Governor Timipre Sylva of Bayelsa State.
The pipeline pumps gas to the Escravos, which supplies inland, especially to the northern states.
