Singapore's stocks rose, helping the Straits Times Index to its biggest gain in two weeks. Keppel Corp. led advances among oil-services companies after crude prices reached an 11-month high of $76 a barrel.
The Straits Times Index climbed 46.76, or 1.3 percent, to 3,651.38 at the close of trading, its biggest advance since July 9. Gains today helped trim the measure's loss this week to 0.1 percent, after two consecutive weekly gains. The July futures contract rose 1.2 percent to 450.4.
