China National Petroleum starts building Dina II field in Xinjiang
China National Petroleum Corp, the parent of PetroChina, said it has started developing the Dina II field in Xinjiang.
The largest condensate field in the country is expected to produce 5 bln cubic meters of natural gas and 560,000 tons of condensate oil per year after it becomes operational in June 2009, it said.
Dina II field has proven gas reserves of 175.2 bln cubic meters and condensate oil reserves of 13.39 mln tons, making it the second largest gas field after the Kela II field in the Tarim basin.
