Italian gas exploring company Po Valley Energy has won environmental approval to develop its Castello gas field near Milan, with work on the project already underway.
Po Valley also won approval from the administration of the Lombardia Region to develop the company’s Sillaro gas field, near Bologna, in January this year – with about 30 per cent of surface plant equipment finalised and production from both sites expected by December 2008.
