Indonesia to Ban LNG Producers

Indonesia is considering a plan to ban liquefied natural gas producers in the country from exporting LNG if prices are lower than domestic market prices, a government official said Thursday.

"We have informed buyers about the plan," Kardaya Warnika, the head of the recently established team tasked to renegotiate contracts with offshore LNG buyers, told Dow Jones Newswires.

Warnika didn't provide further details, Dow Jones reports.
