Russia is Ready to Cut Oil Exports

RUVR reports, Russian Vice-Premier Igor Sechin saying that his country can reduce oil exports by 300-320,000 barrels a day preserving the present-day oil prices

Russia is Ready to Cut Oil Exports

He said that Russian oil companies already reduced export deliveries by 350,000 barrels a day.

Igor Sechin heads a Russian delegation at the OPEC ministerial meeting in the Algerian city of Oran.

The meeting is expected to take a decision on the most substantial reduction of oil extraction in OPEC history — by 2 million barrels a day.

This is necessary to stop price decline. OPEC leaders believe that in the current economic conditions most acceptable price for oil barrel should be 75 dollars.
