During his visit Gazprom's CEO met with Gerard Mestrallet, GDF SUEZ CEO, Jean-Francois Cirelli, the Vice-president of GDF SUEZ and Christophe de Margerie, Total Holding President.
During the meeting with GDF SUEZ Russian gas supplies to France were discussed, also the leaders of the two companies talk over potential partnership on international energy markets, including LNG projects.
GDF SUEZ expressed its interest in Nord Stream project, the representatives of the company also said it was of great importance to them to become minority member of the project.
The meeting with Total president was devoted to the first stage of Shtokman project.
The work of Shtokman Development AG, a special company dealing with technical engineering, was estimated positively.
Alexei Miller informed his European colleagues about the situation with Ukraine, and assured that Gazprom will fullfill its responsibilities on gas supplies regardless how the situation continues.
