Ukraine Finally Signed Gas Transit Supervisory Commission Protocol

Earlier, the document was signed by the European and Russian parties.

According to RBC report, the protocol provides for access of international observers to both Russian and Ukrainian territories for the supervision of gas transit. It also includes five clauses that Kiev finds especially important. In one of them Ukraine maintains that it was the initiator for the observers' invitation, as well as a reliable country for gas transit to Europe.
