The Ukrainian gas company says it will buy 5bn cubic meters of gas from Gazprom in the first quarter of 2009 instead of the usual 12bn due to high prices.
Deputy chairman of the Ukrainian company's board Igor Didenko told a press conference yesterday that Naftogaz of Ukraine would buy 10.5bn in Q2, 12bn in Q3 and 12.5bn of gas in Q4 of this year.
