Itera to Build Pipeline in Turkmenistan
Russian gas producer Itera will build a pipeline in Turkmenistan to link its prospective gas fields to export routes
The project will be financed by state company Turkmengaz. Its cost is estimated as $176.7 million.
The planned domestic pipeline will connect planned gas fields in the Karakum desert, which could hold up to 2 billion cubic metres of gas according to earlier official estimates, to a station pumping gas into the main export pipeline to Russia.
