Kazakhstan wants China to invest in natural-gas pipelines and other projects. Meanwhile, Kazakhstan strated negotiations with National Petroleum Corp. on selling it an interest in AO Mangistaumunigas, Kazakh Energy Minister Sauat Mynbayev announced without giving anu further details.
Mynbayev also said the government is now seeking $10 billion in Chinese investment, while talks are under way.
