The project is estimated at $6 bln. The Saline Water Conversion Corporation is now in process of finalising the tender documentation. According to the company's plans, the plant will generate 2,400 megawatt of which 1,350 will be allocated to the Saudi mining firm Maaden and 1,000 to Saudi Electricity.

Saudi Arabia restarts the giant Ras Azzour project
