Singapore-based Mermaid Maritime’s offshore services arm has won a three-year contract with Chevron to provide call-out subsea services for the supermajor’s offshore oilfields in the Gulf of Thailand. The contract provides for Mermaid to offer any of its available personnel, vessels and subsea equipment, including remotely-operated vehicles to Chevron on a call-out basis.
Mermaid expects to mobilise uitlity vessel Mermaid Performer and multi-purpose diving support vessel, Mermaid Supporter. Mermaid has been contracted to supply turnkey call-out subsea services to Chevron since 2006.
