Royal Dutch Shell Plc’s Kokori oil flow-station in the southern Niger River delta was attacked by the People’s Patriotic Revolutionary Force, the group said in an e-mailed statement yesterday. The group said with the attack it was resuming “fresh and final hostilities in the Niger-Delta and beyond.”
The group called on international oil companies “to vacate the Niger-Delta region with immediate effect.” Shell Nigeria spokesman Precious Okolobo didn’t didn’t immediately respond to a message left on his phone seeking comment.
