Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev said last Friday that a new Oil and Gas Ministry has been created and will be headed by the current Energy and Mineral Resources Minister, Sauat Mynbaev.
Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev said las Friday that a new Oil and Gas Ministry has been created and will be headed by the current Energy and Mineral Resources Minister, Sauat Mynbaev. Nazarbayev also dismissed Economy Minister Bakyt Sultanov.
The reshuffle comes as energy-rich Kazakhstan struggles to cope with the fallout of the global financial crisis amid a fall in demand for its energy and mineral exports.
