More than 70% increase in the first two months of the year for Russian gas transit through Ukraine

The volume of Russian gas transit through Ukraine to Europe rose 70.3% to 18.9 billion cubic metres in the first two months of the year, Ukraine's Fuel & Energy Ministry said today. Reuters quoted the ministry as saying that in the January-February period last year, 11.1 Bcm of gas crossed the country.
