Aggregate industrial category oil reserves in Belarus grew 1.7 million tons in 2009, Belarussian Natural Resources Minister Anatoliy Lis said today, according to Belta news agency. Last year, Belgeologiya discovered 419,000 tons of industrial crude reserves, while Belorusneft found 1.3 million tons.
During this time, three new promising blocks were found - Novo-Yelskaya, Prosvetskaya and Shatilkovskaya. Belorusneft put three productive wells in Svetlogorsk district of Gomel Region into industrial production. This year, Belarussian geologists have the objective of finding 950,000 more tons of industrial crude reserves.
