Germany and China will be never ready to loose Iran's oil market, said Hamid Hosseini, head of Iran's Association of Oil, Gas and Petrochemical Products Exporters said. Referring to the increase of the number of foreign companies, including German and Chinese ones, announcing readiness to attend Iran's 15th International Oil, Gas, Refining and Petrochemicals Exhibition, Hamid Hosseini said that the two countries don’t want to loose Iran's oil market.
"Iran's International Oil, Gas, Refining and Petrochemicals Exhibition is one of the most important exhibitions annually held in the Middle East and due to Iran's huge potentials and rich resources in related fields, no country is keen to disregard the event," he added. Denying recent rumors on boycotting Iran's crude by China, Hosseini said that "energy security is one of the most important strategic issue for China, because currently the country is able to provide 40 percent of its daily demanded oil which stands at 8 million barrels."
"Surely, among the Middle East countries, Iran has a rare situation for supplying china's oil demands, because Iran follows more independent policies compared to the Arab countries in the region," he said adding that "therefore China should not rely on Arab countries in energy sector." He also referred to the German companies a great number of which have announced readiness to attend Iran's 15th International Oil, Gas, Refining and Petrochemicals Exhibition to deliver their services and machineries in related fields. "Germany is Iran's third greatest trade partner of Iran and German companies are not ready to loose their $3 billion interests in Iran by following the US-led sanctions," he concluded.
