Refineries in Ukraine increased their overall crude refining volume 10 percent to 3.868 million tons in the first four months of the year compared to the same period in 2009, Ukroil.com reports. Crude supplies to the country's refineries from January to April were up 12.4 percent to 3.524 million tons. Supplies of Russian crude dropped 5.6 percent to 2.13 million tons, while Ukrainian supplies fell 14.5 percent to 734,200 tons. Imports from third countries grew to 659,700 tons.
Oil product output at Ukrainian refineries increased in the January to April period: gasoline output was up 11.7 percent to 997,900 tons, diesel fuel up 4.5 percent to 1.05 million tons, while fuel oil output grew 22.3 percent to 894,700 tons.
