BP Oil International LTD has announce the liquidation of its representative office in Azerbaijan (state registration number 1103-N1-1347, dated March 24, 2003), 1news.az reports citing the Azerbaijan state newspaper "Azerbaijan". According to the company's announcement, the representative office is ending its activities in Azerbaijan and is requesting its registration be annulled.
Trend website reports that BP Oil International LTD conducted non-commercial activities in Azerbaijan linked to promoting partnership relationships between clients in the region and the main BP office in London which then worked directly with the clients. BP Oil International LTD will retain a representative in the country, who will continue the intermediary operations as before. 1news.az noted it was unable to reach the office for comment.
