Oil&gas Complex of Turkmenistan reported on August 30, 2016, that on 304 km of the gas pipeline «East-West» began laying pipes for construction in Ovadandepe the largest in the Asian region plant for the production of gasoline from natural gas.
Length of the discharge pipeline will be 7 kilometers, and it lay by experts of the Management «Türkmengazingenerchilik we gurlushyk» commissioned by the Association «Türkmengazakdyrysh». Both companies - specialized structures of the State Concern «Turkmengas».
Plant for the production of high quality gasoline from natural gas, the customer of which is also «Turkmengas», advances in Ahal region a consortium of «Kawasaki Heavy Industries» (Japan) and «Rönesans Endüstri Tesisleri ve Inşaat Sanaýi Tiçaret Anonim Şirketi» (Turkey).
The process of turning gas into liquid fuel involves the construction of a chain of process units for deep purification of natural gas, the production of synthesis gas, methanol, and after that facilities for the receipt and refining of gasoline.
Today, the development of the oil and gas industry of Turkmenistan is aimed at increasing of production volume of high quality oil refinery products, increased their share in exports to world markets in the context of the program of industrial development of Turkmenistan for the period up to 2030.
