Production of much-in-demand winter diesel fuels increased by 9.1%, reaching 1.1 million tonnes.
Gazprom Neft’s refineries saw a 6.9% increase in production of commercial road and construction bitumens against Q1 2020, reaching 400,000 tonnes.
Mikhail Antonov, Head Oil & Gas Refining Directorate of Gazprom Neft, said:

- Work is now in hand on future deep refining complexes at the Moscow and Omsk Refineries, which will make additional volumes of advanced fuels available to the market
- All of these solutions are making it possible for us to continue operating effectively in a highly volatile market environment, guaranteeing high-quality products for our customers
The company’s directly owned refineries processed a total 7.4 million tonnes of crude in this reporting period.
