Nur-Sultan, August 6 - Neftegaz.RU. Construction of oil refinery worth $420 million started in West Kazakhstan region, LS reports with reference to the regional administration.
The plant is being built in Algabas village, Terekti district, West Kazakhstan region. It will produce petroleum, diesel fuel, kerosene and bitumen.
As of today, 59.8 ha of land has been purchased for construction. The oil refinery is expected to be commissioned in 2021, the regional administration noted.
The plant will produce 750,000 tons of product a year.
