Minsk, November 30 - Neftegaz.RU. The Belarusian state petrochemical concern Belneftekhim can confirm that Belarusian oil refineries will get 18 million tonnes of Russian oil in 2019 for processing purposes, BelTa learned from Belneftekhim Deputy Chairman of the Board Vladimir Sizov on 28 November.
According to the source, Russian oil deliveries to Belarus are regulated by intergovernmental agreements. As much as 18 million tonnes will be delivered to Belarus in 2019 for processing purposes.
«It is the figure that matches our technical capabilities and the optimal oil refining regime,» the official said. The sides continue discussing the compensation the Belarusian economy is expected to get due to changes in the taxation of the Russian oil industry.
«Negotiations are in progress, however, it is too early to talk about even some intermediate results: the negotiations are far from over. Some comments may be made soon,» Vladimir Sizov said .
BelTA reported earlier that the algorithm for compensating Belarus' losses caused by the so-called tax maneuver in Russia is to be worked out by 15 December.
