Oil Leak At Shell Platform Offshore Malaysia

Shell?s unit in Malaysia, Sabah Shell Petroleum had an oil leak at its St Joseph platform due to a punctured pipeline.
Now the company?s representative said that there has been no report of casualty or any immediate threat to people and facilities.

Sabah Shell also said a team of experts has been dispatched to the site to repair the damaged pipeline.

It said: "We have informed the relevant authorities of the incident and are working closely with them to investigate its cause."

The company said it is currently taking every possible measure to safeguard the people and minimise any impact on the environment.
