SPS – Smart Production Solutions in Guangzhou in 2026 will showcase global innovations driving industrial modernization in the Greater Bay Area

The exhibition will bring together the world’s leading suppliers of automation and robotics, providing Chinese enterprises with access to cutting-edge solutions for upgrading their production facilities.

Guangzhou, December 9 - Neftegaz.RU. The SPS – Smart Production Solutions Guangzhou 2026 exhibition, a key event for smart manufacturing in the Greater Bay Area (GBA) – one of the most important economic and industrial zones in South China – will take place on March 4–6, 2026, at the China Import and Export Fair Complex. The event will bring together Chinese manufacturers and leading global suppliers, supporting the region’s transition toward industrial upgrading and digital transformation. By combining international technology showcases with B2B matchmaking, the platform will enable enterprises to move from isolated equipment upgrades to comprehensive production automation.

Active government investment, along with partnerships between industrial enterprises, scientific centers, and research institutes, is driving the rapid development of intelligent manufacturing in the Greater Bay Area. The GBA integrates the research and development capabilities of Hong Kong and Macao with the strong manufacturing base of the nine Pearl River Delta cities, giving enterprises access to the entire value chain — from fundamental research to manufacturing, financing, and workforce training.

To accelerate industrial growth, the Guangdong government has allocated 26.2 billion yuan ($3.6 billion) to advance its "manufacturing first” strategy. In addition, state-owned enterprises plan to invest over 20 billion yuan ($2.8 billion) in artificial intelligence development by 2027, aiming to build an industry exceeding 100 billion yuan ($14 billion) in value.

In line with these initiatives, SPS – Smart Production Solutions Guangzhou 2026 will bring together leading automation suppliers and manufacturers from more than 30 industries, including automotive, 3C electronics, home appliances, food and beverage, and new energy. The exhibition will showcase hardware and software solutions, as well as customized systems designed to improve product quality, increase efficiency, and modernize production.

Thanks to the international SPS network, the event will serve as a meeting point for global technology companies and regional manufacturers, helping Chinese enterprises connect with foreign partners and facilitating the entry of international suppliers into the Greater Bay Area market.

Three parallel exhibitions form a unified technological ecosystem for industry.

In 2026, SPS – Smart Production Solutions Guangzhou will once again be held jointly with Guangzhou Industrial Technology and Asiamold Select – Guangzhou. Bringing three exhibitions together under one format will provide comprehensive coverage of manufacturing needs – from smart manufacturing, industrial automation, and robotics to manufacturing technologies including molds, dies, and additive manufacturing.

Guangzhou Industrial Technology will host the first International Exhibition of Robotics and Intelligent Equipment, which will complement the existing Asiabearing platform. The exhibition will showcase the latest solutions in robotics – from key components and system integration to fully developed industrial applications. Featured sections include industrial and service robots, specialized robotics, intelligent equipment, hydraulic and mechanical transmission systems, air compression technologies, and industrial AI applications.

The Asiamold Select – Guangzhou exhibition focuses on component manufacturing technologies, including mold making, precision die casting, smart stamping, metal casting, and additive manufacturing.

The joint hosting of these three events creates a large-scale platform for manufacturers and technology suppliers from China and abroad. Throughout the exhibition, technical sessions, business meetings, and industry forums will support the adoption of new technologies and strengthen the Greater Bay Area’s position as a hub for smart manufacturing.
