The Arctic Economic Council (AEC) is an international business forum established in 2014, that facilitates Arctic business-to-business activities and responsible economic development through the sharing of best practices.
The AEC’s active organizations include a diverse range of companies, from start-ups, small- and medium-sized enterprises to regional and international corporations operating in the Arctic zone.
Leonid Mikhelson, NOVATEK’s Chairman of the Management Board said:

NOVATEK’s long-term development strategy envisages a significant growth in LNG production from the company’s vast hydrocarbon resource base located on the Yamal and Gydan peninsulas in the Arctic zone of more than 55 million tons per annum by 2030.
