As Transneft East reported on July 22, 2016, more than 400 km of external power supply lines will be constructed according to the programme of extension of Eastern Siberia-Pacific Ocean (ESPO) oil trunk pipeline at the section Tayshet – Skovorodino.
According to the specified programme, construction of three oil pump stations No. 3, 6, 9 is conducted. As well works on modernization of existing facilities of ESPO pipeline system are conducted since 2015.
New power supply facilities – high voltage power lines 220 kV – will be supplemented with modern substations; their construction has been started at OPS (oil pump stations) No. 3, 6, 9. Besides, reconstruction of EPS equipment will be conducted at Tayshet PEPS-1 (pipe-end pump station).
As well in the process of the project implementation two additional taps (ВЛ 35 kV to the pipe-end pump station of ESPO - Tayshet PEPS-1 and ВЛ – 220 kV from Peleduy substation (Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) to high voltage lines, supplying power to OPS-8 and OPS-10) will be laid.
In total 1,476 reinforced concrete supports will be equipped during construction of external power supply lines. At the present time their supply is performed. 343 units have been already supplied to the facilities.
At the present time works on deforestation, brushwood clearing are conducted at the construction sites.
Construction of the new power infrastructure will allow securing the first (the most reliable) level of power supply of industrial facilities, involved in oil transportation through ESPO oil trunk pipeline.
