LUKOIL sustainability report recieves Russian and international awards

Moscow, September 10 - Neftegaz.RU. LUKOIL Group Sustainability Report for 2019 won first prizes at both Russian and international reports contests.

LUKOIL became a winner of the Russian Ministry of Energy Contest for the best socially oriented energy company in the Best non-financial report by an oil and gas company category among enterprises that have between 20 and 110 thousand employees.

LACP (League of American Communications Professionals) bestowed high praise on LUKOIL Report and awarded it a Gold Winner rank among sustainability reports presented by oil and gas companies.

LUKOIL Group Sustainability Report also became a Silver Winner of the world's biggest corporate annual reports contest ARC Awards in the Sustainability Report: Americas & Europe category. ARC Awards is an annual contest that has been running for over 30 years; its jury chooses the best reports prepared by companies operating in more than 70 countries.​

It is also the first time that the interactive e-version of the Report got its own high appraisal. It won a LACP Silver and an ARC Awards Bronze.​

The 2019 Report is the 10th LUKOIL Group Sustainability Report, which provides detailed information on its social activities, management systems, and social and environmental impacts. The Report complies with the GRI international reporting standard and takes into account the SASB, UNCTAD and IPIECA standards.

The list of essential topics was compiled based on the requests received from stakeholders. The Report puts a premium on climate change agenda, including the greenhouse gases emission managementsystem.
